I find organized religion utterly fascinating. The idea that the creator of the universe would want you to be a rule-abiding slave who rejects your own mind's urges and desires is hilarious to me. It's a coping mechanism. An easy way to write off any and all critical thought, actions or consequence with three letters: God.
"You argue and you bicker and you fight. Atheists and Catholics, Jews and Hindus argue day and night over what they think is true... but no one entertains the thought that maybe God does not believe in you." - Bo Burnham
You can be spiritually conscious and aware without subscribing to the cult-like ideologies of an organized religion. I know to many that seems like some sort of Illuminati gobbledygook or whatever, but that's another narrative you've been fed to keep you docile and obedient. And while I'm at it: being an Atheist isn't intelligent. The absence of something inside yourself is an emptiness, not a strength. I have witnessed alleged "critical thinkers" disregard the obvious in exchange for just shrugging and going "haha what a coinkydink" and then bashing their skull into a wall at full force.
I may have made up that last part.
The point is: there's something going on in the universe. What is it? Dunno. But you see it. I know you see it.
